We’re so excited to invite you to celebrate our wedding day with us at K-B Ranch in Temecula. This date is extra special because it marks 11 years since the night we met — and there’s no better way to honor that than surrounded by all of you. We’ve created this website as a central hub for all the details: where to stay, what to wear, our registry, and how to RSVP. We can’t wait for a night of good food, good drinks, and dancing under the stars with the people we love most. Thank you for being part of our story — and for helping us kick off this next chapter. See you in Temecula! With love, Julia & Ryan
It all started on October 4, 2014, at a cozy little neighborhood lounge called Lil Woody. Julia was sitting outside pretending to be the door guy, playfully checking IDs as people came in. When Ryan handed her his ID, she looked up and asked, “Where are you going?” — and without missing a beat, he smiled and replied, “Wherever you’re going.” From that night on, their connection was instant and undeniable. At the time, Ryan was splitting his life between Arizona and Kodiak, Alaska, where he’d spent over 20 years working as an Alaskan fisherman. After meeting Julia, Ryan returned to Alaska for what would become his final fishing season. He realized it was time to focus on building a new life with Julia and her daughter, also named Ryan, who was 15 at the time. Since then, Ryan has pursued a new career in construction, leaving behind the cold Alaskan waters for the warmth of the Arizona sun and the hearts of his new family. Julia and her daughter are both born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and from the very start, Ryan bonded with Julia’s daughter in a way that was effortless and genuine. Over the past decade, he’s shown her unwavering love, guidance, and support, becoming a steady, loving father figure. After over 10 years of adventures together, Ryan planned a surprise trip to New York City for Valentine’s Day. In the middle of a snowy Central Park, following a magical horse and carriage ride, he got down on one knee and asked Julia to marry him. Now, 11 years to the day from when it all began, Julia and Ryan are saying “I do” on October 4, 2025, surrounded by the people they love most — ready to begin the next chapter of their incredible story.
