Wedding Party

Meet our dearest friends who will stand by our sides as we get married!

Kelsie

Maid of Honor

I met Kelsie in high school band when she needed a ride home one day after rehearsal. I basically grabbed her by the arm, said "you're coming with me," and we've been best buds ever since. I've moved farther and farther away, but our friendship has only gotten closer over the last 10 years. We've recently developed an unhealthy addiction to the game Overcooked and have virtual game night about 8 times a week (oops). Some might say it's excessive, we just call it soul mates. Fun Fact: We once made a Build-A-Bear named Ichabod Travels that we planned to mail back and forth to each other so we would always stay in touch. We ended up losing the bear, but don't worry, we're still friends. (P.s. Where are you, Ichabod?)

LA

Best Woman

LA and I first met while bartending at Krazy Korner on Bourbon Street. I was fairly new to the city and didn't know anyone. She came up to me one day and said "I choose you. You're going to be my best friend." I was a little caught off guard at first but here we are 7 years later and we have done so much together. We've traveled out of the country, been roommates, broken into each others house/apartments just to hangout with each other, and had endless life conversation. Shes my best friend and family with an unbreakable bond.

Erika

Bridesmaid

I met Erika my freshman year of high school and this time, I was the one needing a ride home. We did not like each other very much when we first met, but on the drive home we quickly realized we both loved Disney, MCR, melted ice cream with a bunch of toppings (or as we call it, mud), and had about 1,000 other things in common. We ended up hanging out almost everyday for two years straight, even living together for a little while where we shared many breakfasts over bagels. Even though we now live across the country from one another, she's still stuck with me 12 years later. Fun Fact: In high school, Erika had cool scene hair with the underneath bleached blond. I wanted cool hair like her, too, so I copied her and bleached the underneath of my hair blond. She asked if I copied her and I said no, but I can now say....Yes, Erika, I copied you and I'm glad I did.

Rachel

Groomswoman

We first met while I was a bar manager on Bourbon Street. At the time she was a New Orleans police officer so our paths would cross on a regular basis. We would chat back and forth about random things until one day we were chatting and her now Wife (LA) , who happened to be working a few doors down, texted me "who's the hot lady cop you're talking to?" After Rachel went about her patrolling I walked over to LA and started chatting about her and then Rachel later on asked me "who's your beautiful blonde friend?" That's when I just knew I had to get them together. Next thing you know I'm standing in their wedding watching my two best friends marry each other. Here we are now with them standing in mine. Rachel has always been my rock, protector, and voice of reason when LA and I decide to go act crazy.

Sam

Bridesmaid

I met Sam when we both worked at Tijuana Flats. We bonded during a HEAT Talk (iykyk) and became the best of buds right away. After years of flinging tacos, eating veggie burgers, trips to Target, shopping sprees, tattoos, and random drives to Disney Springs just for a taco in a cone and a margarita, we can confirm that we were destined to be friends. If you ever need a good cat meme, go to Sam. Fun Fact: I was with Sam the day she adopted her first cat, Oz, and have since been known as his fairy godmother. Please appreciate his floof in the photo with Sam.

Brady

Groomsman

This man right here is my literal big brother. He's been by my side for my entire life. From playing video games in my room together for hours upon hours while growing up, to moving to Washington, D.C club hopping (even though I wasn't of age yet) he would just act like my body guard as if I was someone famous, to living together in New Orleans working 14 hour shifts. So many nights we would sit and drink together and laugh and talk about all the crazy stuff that happened during the shift and a lot of the times until the sunrise the next day. Anytime I need advice on anything he would always give it to me straight and never BS around it.

Kate

Bridesmaid

I also met Kate working at Tijuana Flats. After realizing that she shares my love of junk food (blame the cookie dough flautas), alternative and emo music, and obsession with plants, I needed to weasel my way into being her friend. From Emo Night, concerts, farmer's markets, and countless Taco Tuesday's (a T-Flats survivor's nightmare), she's one of my favorite people in my life. Fun Fact: Kate's purple hair first began when I tried bleaching it in her bathroom at 1AM, which led to a 3AM trip to Walmart, and a lot more bleach. Years later, she continues her reign as the Grape Queen.

Sue

Groomswoman

I looooove me some Sue Kelly. She has such a big heart for the people around her especially her friends. I can't count the times we have literally died laughing to the point I would have to walk away from her because I could not physically breath anymore. She has always been there when needed even if it's creeping in the back of the group chat listening to all the BS and drama going on for that week but shes always there to real it back in when it gets too far. She has always and will always be there with me regardless of the situation.

Elyse

Groomswoman

Elyse is my ride or die. We met working at Krazy Korner together pushing through the craziness Bourbon street has to offer. We then became roommates and she was my COVID lock down party partner. We would wake up bored in the house, in the house bored and just decide to have a virtual rave. We would find whatever DJ that was live streaming that day, get some food and drinks from the grocery store, and just jam out the whole day and through the night.

For all the days along the way
