May 2017 - Rance's first time meeting Julia's parents! It was Greta Brecht's confirmation weekend.

August 2017 - we went to Rance's friend's wedding reception. It was Julia's first time meeting many of Rance's friends.

September 2017 - for Julia's birthday in April, Rance got two tickets to see Ed Sheeran in Omaha. He's Julia's favorite. Rance was even impressed by the show!

February 2018 - we celebrated two years together and Valentine's Day at Rance's favorite steakhouse in Omaha, Johnny's Cafe.

May 2018 - we took a really fun week-long vacation! We started in Mankato for Rance's niece's graduation party, then stayed in Duluth for a few days. This was before our harbod cruise in Duluth, MN.

May 2018 - continuing our vacation from Duluth, we spent the rest of the week in Itasca State Park. It was a blast! We stayed one night in Cold Spring for Greta's graduation, then back to Omaha.

June 2018 - we love the College World Series and go every year together at least once.

Football Season 2018 - anyone who knows Rance knows he is a #1 Buffalo Bills fan. Somehow, he got Julia rooting for them too.

October 2018 - we both love Halloween and did SNL costumes that year. I was a Spartan cheerleader and he was Matt Foley, a famous Chris Farley character who lived in A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!

April 2019 - Rance came to Julia's family Easter and finally got to meet her dad's side of the family.

May 2019 - parents meeting each other for the first time! Julia's parents also met Rance's sister Justine and her kids that weekend.

February 2019 - Annie Brecht's wedding!

It took a ponytail holder plus 76 bobby pins to tame Julia's curly hair!

Julia's mom made special pictures to hang on the bouquet. They featured special people we've lost - Julia's paternal grandpa, her maternal grandma, and Rance's mom, Roxanne.
