Never thought this day would come but im getting married

Patrick and I met in 2011 through a play group for special needs adults called Jerry’s Habima Theater. At first he was too shy to talk to me but after a few years of getting to know each other he opened up and we found we had lots in common. We instantly became friends. A few years down the road Patrick approached me asking if I had boyfriend, but I turned him away saying I liked another, but I soon learned the guy I liked was not my type so in January of 2018 Patrick had lost a friend and another moved away. He was going through a really hard time. I felt bad for him and wanted to cheered him up so we started hanging out outside of the play group. We fell in love with each other. A year later in 2019 Patrick proposed at a prom for special needs adults and I’ve never been happier and now look we’re planning our wedding. Something I never thought I’d get to do. I’m so lucky I found him and I’m looking forward to see what the future holds for us.
