It started with a movie night that neither of us could have predicted would change our lives. On that evening, we were actually on a double date, but not with each other! I was there with another date, and he was with one of my best friends, Audrey, who’s now one of my bridesmaids. We all had a great time, but little did we know that night was just the start of something special. Over the next few years, our paths kept crossing. We had a couple of "talking stages" and moments where we got to know each other better, but the timing just wasn’t quite right. Until it was! In November 2023, we officially started dating. And just like that, what began as a funny double date story turned into a beautiful journey together. In the midst of all that, we even did a year of long distance; he was in Arkansas at Ouachita Baptist University, and I was in Texas at Stephen F. Austin State University. That year of long distance really helped us grow closer and strengthen our bond. We got engaged on November 1, 2025 and we celebrated our two-year anniversary on November 19 of 2025! Now, we’re so excited to say we’ll be tying the knot on November 1, 2026! We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all our loved ones and share the joy that’s grown from our unexpected beginning. Thank you for being part of our story!
