We're getting married!

We met for the first time at Roaming Roosters after we’d been chatting on Hinge. It was our love for food and travel that kept us attached and helped us fall deeper in love day by day. We both knew within the first couple of dates that there was something special about the other person.

On my 31st birthday, Omar planned a romantic dinner in Annapolis, Maryland at a restaurant on the water. It was so romantic. We ordered a delicious steak meal for two, after that, he suggested dessert. It took him a while to convince me because I was watching my figure. After convincing me I agreed to dessert. He got up to go to the restroom after we placed the order with our waiter. Not too long after that as the dessert was brought to the table he also returned back and immediately got on one knee. Before I could say anything, tears trickled down my face. After a short pause, I nodded up and down with happiness. I was speechless. It was one of the happiest days of my life.
