The ceremony will take place at our local church followed by a reception downtown

How long will ceremony last?

Answer

The doors will open at 12:40 pm & begin promptly at 1:00 pm. The ceremony will last about 60-90 minutes.

Where do I park for the reception?

Answer

For parking downtown, we ask to drop off young guests at the doors and for drivers to find nearby street parking or at "Innovation Depot". Innovation Depot is about 5-6 blocks away on the other side of Railroad park. 1500 1st Ave N Birmingham, Al 35203 If guests are staying at the Hilton downtown (see “travel” tab), they may park at their hotel & walk about 2 blocks to the reception *This is the preferred parking location*

Will dinner be served at the reception?

Answer

Join us for a fun afternoon of dancing & hors d'oeurves. For our bar service, please bring your ID & cash to purchase drinks.

There is a one-hour gap between the ceremony & reception. What should guests do during that time?

Answer

There is absolutely no need to rush! The reception venue is a 20 minute drive from the ceremony. We invite you to take your time driving, use this window to drop off your luggage at the hotel, or grab a quick coffee along the way. Cocktail hour will begin promptly at 3pm.

Children are welcome to join our celebration. We kindly ask that parents ensure their children remain supervised & respectful during the ceremony and reception.
