How We Met
I first met Miguel on September 22, 2018, during a recruiting visit to East Tennessee State University (ETSU) to explore the possibility of running track there. Although we had a brief conversation during the visit, we didn't have much interaction after that. A few months later, we ran into each other again at a track meet at Miguel's high school. After I finished a race, Miguel approached me, and we spoke briefly, but again, we didn't stay in touch after that. It wasn’t until the fall of 2019, when we both started school at ETSU, that we reconnected. Shortly after arriving at the university, we began dating, and the rest is history! -Julia
