Forest Park Beach

Michael and I LOVE the beach. It is one of our favorite places to be! There is a $25 daily fee per person. Credit cards only. There is no onsite parking. There are public lots located in the business district and at the train station. It is a short 3/4 mile walk to the lakefront.

Lincolnshire Art Festival

July 4th-5th! The annual fest features more than 80 artists and features live entertainment, food vendors, and a kids' art zone. Admission is free. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Chicago Botanic Garden

Michael and I love to go here! We will often walk the grounds and grab a bite to eat at the cafe. Our favorite areas are the Japanese Gardens, bonsai collection, vegetable gardens, and the greenhouses. There is on-site parking and tickets to buy online.

Par-King Skill Golf

Michael and I went here on a date. We love to golf! (& mini golf)
