Easiest is to drive to 20 Phillips Avenue, Rockport. For those driving, you can park: -on Phillips Avenue, between the Emerson Inn and Mount Locust Avenue, or north of Ocean Avenue, on the side across from the ocean only (there is no parking on the ocean side) -on Lacrosse Avenue -on Haven Avenue -on the upper part of Mount Locust Avenue Please do not park on narrow streets (emergency vehicle access) and respect residents’ driveways, fire hydrants and parking signs. Please do NOT park at 20 Phillips Avenue. See map above. For those preferring to use the shuttle, the driver will pick up starting at the Rockport Inn at 4:00 PM (and again at 4:30 PM), then at Captain’s Bounty ~4:10 PM (and again at ~4:40 PM) and then at Yankee Clipper ~4:15 PM (and again at 4:45 PM). Shuttle service will be available throughout the evening on-demand and then scheduled service to the hotels starting at 10:00 PM. Last shuttle will leave at midnight for those who linger.
Long, colorful dresses, light suits, whatever you're comfortable in. The whole event will take place on grass, so wear shoes that work on grass.
Good Harbor Beach: After Labor Day, there is no fee to park at Good Harbor Beach, a beautiful beach about 10 minutes from downtown Rockport. Long Beach, Gloucester Side: You can access Long Beach, a beach that is mostly in Rockport, by parking on Rockport Rd in Gloucester, near the Cape Ann Motor Inn. Front Beach: This is a small beach in downtown Rockport. There is metered parking.
