Welcome to Seven Mile Island! Seven Mile Island is a laid‑back stretch of the southern New Jersey Shore made up of two beloved beach towns: Avalon at the north end and Stone Harbor at the south. Together, they offer beautiful beaches, charming coastal homes, and some of the best sunsets on the island. The island has a relaxed, upscale beach‑town feel—both towns are easy to get around, welcoming, and just the right balance of peaceful and fun. You'll be staying right on the town line, in Avalon but actually closer to Stone Harbor. In Stone Harbor, you can stroll 96th St and enjoy great restaurants and boutique shopping during the weekend. Plus the ICONA has a shuttle to take you there if you wish. Whether you’re spending the day oceanside or enjoying a night out before the wedding, Seven Mile Island is all about slowing down, soaking up the ocean air, and enjoying good company. While we are keeping our fingers crossed for a beautiful, beach worthy weekend, it is early in the season. But you have all day Saturday to explore. May we suggest a walk on the beach, a short ride to 96th St in Stone Harbor for some shopping and lunch? If in Stone Harbor, be sure to walk into the Reeds Boutique Hotel and find your way to the back Bayside bar for a relaxing drink. If you are there on Thursday, enjoy a sunset! Other days, a drink at the ICONA outdoor Sand Bar or upstairs next door at the Windrift?

Flight

PHL, ACY, EWRPHL, ACY, EWR

We typically travel in and out of the Philly PHL Airport, clocking in around 1.75hrs to Avalon. Other options include Newark EWR Airport which is about 2.25hrs, or if you are lucky enough to get flights that work from Spirt, Allegiant, or Breeze, Atlantic City's airport, ACY is about 40 mins away.
