FAQs

Question

What airport should we fly into?

Answer

Cancun (CUN)

Question

Am I allowed to bring children to the wedding?

Answer

While we would love to have everyone join, we are asking that no children attend the wedding event on 6/7. Please discuss with the wedding couple if you need to bring your children.

Question

Am I able to bring a plus one?

Answer

We strongly encourage singles to mingle and avoid bringing a plus one to the party, unless it is a true significant other.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We encourage you to book your room ASAP as we do not have a room block. Room categories may sell out and this resort tends to fully book. There will be other weddings going on starting Thursday 6/4. Official RSVP’s are requested no later than 1/31/2026 (through Zola). Room bookings should be done ASAP through the attached link for Destify. https://marcusandjulia2026.destify.com/

Question

Do I have to book through your travel agent?

Answer

Yes! In order to be counted in the wedding group, the resort/room accommodations must be made through Destify. Flights / Airfare should be booked with your preferred Airline. https://marcusandjulia2026.destify.com/

Question

When will the Bride & Groom be there?

Answer

Thursday 6/4/26 - Wednesday 6/10/26. We will be staying in a loft suite on the TRS Coral side.

Question

Do I need transportation to and from the airport?

Answer

Yes, a preferred vendor and cost will be provided at a later date. I'd recommend NOT booking the transportation through Destify. We will be coordinating with the hotel directly or through a preferred 3rd party. The resort is approximately 45 - 55 minutes from the Cancun airport.

Question

What is included in the resort stay?

Answer

Grand Palladium / TRS Coral Costa Mujeres is an All Inclusive resort. All food and drinks are included as well as certain entertainment. A’La Carte restaurants are included however, may require a reservation at the time of check in. The Cabaret Dinner show is an extra fee. Spa & Rafa Nadal Tennis centre are on site as well but may have additional fees. Please bring cash TIPS for the staff who provide excellent service. Tipping goes a long way at all inclusive resorts and will get you better service. Make friends with your servers / bartenders.

Question

What time is check in and check out?

Answer

Check in is 3 pm, unless your room is available sooner. Check out is 11 am. You are still able to check in and store your luggage with the resort staff / bellman and enjoy the amenities while you wait for your room.

Question

Passport

Answer

Passports are required for international travel. Mexico may require your passport be valid for at least 6 months prior to the departure date.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

For the wedding, Semi-Formal Attire is highly recommended. We welcome all guests to wear something Green (anywhere from mint/sage green to darker tones such as olive/hunter green; florals are welcomed as well). Please note the wedding venue will be outside (weather permitting) and will likely be warmer temps (hot AF). Hoping to catch the sunset for some photos, please dress accordingly.

Question

Are there any other specific events or attire requested outside of the wedding day?

Answer

For those who are able to arrive for the Welcome Party on Friday evening 6/5/2026, please wear WHITE. Saturday may entail a pickleball match and or a Spa day (subject to availability) so please pack accordingly. We have several birthday celebrations on 6/4/2026 (make sure you "buy" Liz & Darryl & Karla a drink!).

Question

What is the anticipated weather forecast?

Answer

Warm, sunny. Hot AF. Possible light rain and mosquitoes.

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

Sunblock, bathing suits, comfortable shoes, nightly dinner attire, daily beach or pool attire. Hats, Passports, Bug Spray. Cash for Tips. Wedding Attire. Tennis / Pickleball Attire.

Question

What is the difference from TRS Coral vs. Grand Palladium?

Answer

At the TRS Coral and Grand Palladium resort complex, the key distinction is that TRS Coral is an adults-only section, while the Grand Palladium is a family-friendly main resort. Located on the same property and within walking distance, the resort offers multiple sections with unique amenities. TRS Coral provides exclusive features including a separate check-in area, an adults-only pool and beach section, assigned butler service, a rooftop bar, and select private restaurants. Guests staying at TRS Coral enjoy full access to all Grand Palladium amenities. The Grand Palladium also offers an upgraded “Family Selection” category with exclusive access to a dedicated pool and restaurants. Each room category is priced differently but includes an all-inclusive package with unlimited food and drinks. We recommend selecting the section that best suits your vacation and wedding preferences.

Question

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Strongly encourage everyone to wear green, anywhere from mint - sage - olive - emerald - hunter. Florals are welcome. Formal attire is recommended, however, we understand that the temperature may be hot and therefore cocktail / semi-formal attire is appropriate as well. The wedding will not be directly on the beach, however, will be outside on a terrace.

Question

Is there a wedding registry for the couple?

Answer

The wedding couple has opted for a non traditional Honeymoon Fund through Honeyfund for a destination in 2027 (either Europe or Saint Lucia). If you insist on giving a gift, any amount is welcomed and much appreciated! The Honeyfund link provides set line items / denominations or an option for "ANY AMOUNT" at the very bottom. Your presence at our wedding is the true gift.

Question

How do I book my room?

Answer

We have selected DESTIFY as our travel agent for the accommodations. Please note there is a 3 night minimum stay requirement, prices fluctuate daily as we did not do a room block. $150 deposit PER PERSON secures your room at the rate shown in the link. Please note the $150 deposit is non refundable should you chose to cancel your reservation. Destify will also do a price match if you find a cheaper rate elsewhere. The full amount is due 65 days before travel. Up to you if you'd rather pay in full, make payments, or simply pay the $150 per person today and not make another payment until 3/31/2026 when the final balance is due (check your booking link once secured to confirm final payment due date).
