The Wedding Party

Meagan Chisholm

Maid of Honor

It only seemed fitting for Julia's Maid of Honor to be her longest friend, dating back to 1998. Although their friendship started out as convenient neighbor friends, so much of their lives have been shared together. During the early years, that included snow day igloos, scooter rides around the neighborhood, and burning CDs of the latest and greatest Broadway musical, Wicked. Even when middle school brought different interests (sports for Meagan, anything BUT sports for Julia), the pair always found things to bond over. It wasn't until high school when their junior-year English teacher mistook Meagan and Julia as enemies that they finally realized how much they had grown to be like sisters. The two haven't lived in the same state since high school and yet they are each other's Maid of Honors, the most loyal confidants, and will always be truly the best of friends.

Steve Soler

Best Man

Steve waltzed into Marc's life during their first year of medical school over some excellent family meals, many crafted by the groomsmen below. During Steve's time in Boston, before leaving for fellowship, the two continued to craft fantastic meals and memories while living together for 3 years (also while living with many of the groomsmen below). Steve's capacity for kindness combined with his culinary skills and sarcastic wit make him an excellent listener for when you need someone to complain about terrible YouTube cooking shows. Simply put, the two are life-long friends.

Tamarah Brousseau

Bridesmaid

There was a time in high school when Julia was never seen without Tamarah and Tamarah without Julia. Although their friendship started out on the rocky side (iykyk), the two seemed to serendipitously be paired together for nearly every dance number during the LHS production of Aida. Soon the glares and passive comments turned to laughter and inside jokes. Before too long, Tam and Julia were auditioning for Peacock Players together, driving around town in the Cheetah Mobile, and then heading off to different colleges. Throughout everything life has thrown at them, the two remain just as close now as they were during those crazy high school years.

Nate Barr

Groomsman

The handyman of the group, there isn't anything Nate can't fix. These two met during their first year of medical school and despite Nate losing to Marc and Dean in poker regularly, they fast became family after living together for many years. For family meals, Nate's rendition of his grandmother's famous Ham Balls were critically acclaimed not just for their outstanding taste, but for how Nate could MacGyver a drill into a food processor to make it. Nate's DIY expertise is only surpassed by his warmth and capacity to help others. To find him at the wedding look no further than the man holding a Coors Light.

Nicole Colameta

Bridesmaid

Having met at the awkward age of 12, Julia and Nicole have beat the odds and remained close friends for the past 18 years. Julia and Nicole met in the seventh grade and became fast friends, bonding over performing, striving for straight As, and wearing high heels to school. Whether it was supporting one another at a dance or theatre show, taking "walking" as a gym course together, or being the elevator buddy when one of them was hurt, Julia and Nicole only got closer over the years. There is something about surviving your prime adolescent years with someone that brings you closer together! Although they have consistently lived in different places since high school, the two have experienced so much life together. To this day, their friendship remains just as strong as it did during the Typhoon locker days.

Nick Barth

Groomsman

Marc has been blessed not just to have Julia in his life, but her family as well. Julia's younger brother Nick is an absolute hoot. Every time they play Cuphead or Mario Kart 1 through 8 he ends up taking Marc to church. One glorious night Marc played the most pristine racing Mario Kart has ever seen and still lost. Other than vintage video games, they've bonded over every type of media possible especially music. Marc's top memory is listening to Nick play Welcome Home flawlessly (which Marc could barely play on basic mode in Rock Band). Marc is excited to call Nick family, especially since it'll give him a lifetime of opportunities to destroy Nick in Mario Kart.

Tyler Delano

Bridesman

If there is one person who will call Julia out for being a diva on her wedding day, it's Tyler Delano. Julia and Tyler met during their freshman year at UConn when they both auditioned for The Rolling Tones a cappella group. After Julia tried convincing the group that she was transferring schools after her first year, Tyler had a huge impact on her sticking around. The Rolling Tones was such a huge part of Julia's college experience from away gigs, to countless invitationals, to parties at Mushroom House, to arranging music, to drunk rehearsals (lol sorry Ben), to recording CDs - and Tyler was there through it all, and the two have only grown closer together as adults.

Will Li

Groomsman

Will's first memory of Marc is when he sent Will an email trying to introduce himself as the "fun guy" of the new MD/PhDs. Although that email made Will think Marc was lame, thankfully the two quickly became inseparable during their first year of medical school. Will's limitless energy and mentality that anything is possible is why despite many up's and down's, surviving living together, these two remain best friends for life. If at the wedding you have any questions about brewing beer, hydroponics, or growing mushrooms, you can most likely find Will in the kitchen giving the chefs pointers.

Clarice Melanson

Bridesmaid

Though Julia and Clarice met in middle school and remained friends in high school and in college, their friendship really began to flourish as young adults. That fateful year living together in Somerville in quite possibly the world's oldest apartment and each working non-conventional work hours allowed the two to connect like never before. Whether it was buying new houseplants, venting about their psycho roommates, or watching RuPaul's Drag Race with a large glass of red wine, Julia and Clarice grew their friendship tenfold that year. Although the two live in different states and only see each other a few times a year, getting together always feels like no time has passed at all. They are the "errand-running" friends, the "grab dinner and don't need to talk" friends, and most importantly, the "forever" friends.

Dean Libet

Groomsman

The dad of their rag-tag group of pals, Dean and Marc met during their first year of medical school. Amongst his friends, Dean's dad jokes are legendary and the heartiness with which he laughs at his own jokes makes the entire room light up. Dean's dad jokes are only surpassed by his Dad-like wisdom, with Marc turning to Dean for advice many a time. The friendship these two have built over many years of living and cooking together has made them friends for life. To find Dean at the wedding please look no further than the dance floor.

Tate Strack

Bridesmaid

Tate came into Julia's life on the very first day of college at UConn when the girl with the boomingly loud voice from down the hall came over to introduce herself. After a couple of campus walks and dining hall dates, the rest, as they say, is history. The pair lived together every year after that, and became simply inseparable, always having the other by their side. Their like-minded humor allowed Tate and Julia to become fast and forever friends. Their friendship has survived LOTS of shared living space, college paint parties, a cappella concerts, club hockey teams, study abroad, shenanigans at Celeron, grad school, trips to Texas, and just about everything else in between.

Kanishka Khanna

Groomsman

What started as randomly assigned first year uni roommates blossomed into a beautiful friendship with Kanishka wanting to kill Marc only half the time they lived together over 3 years. Kanishka's dry wit always brings laughs and his keen fashion sense makes him that friend who is close enough to call you out when you look like trash. Despite leaving the best coast and returning to the golden state, the memories these two have shared have made them family. Marc couldn't get married without him. As a side note, Marc is still hoping Kanishka's mom will one day teach them both how to cook proper Indian food.

Amber Vittoria-Zhang

Bridesmaid

Julia first met Marc's older sister when the two had been dating for under six months. Julia was terrified for this HUGE next step in their relationship. Meeting the older sister, especially before the parents, meant that the future of her relationship was dependent on this encounter going in a positive direction. After some brief awkward small talk, the two discovered their mutual love of a good crossword puzzle and spent the rest of the night solving the latest NYT puzzle over wine and conversation. While Julia is grateful to be joining the Vittoria family, she is absolutely thrilled to be gaining a sister as cool and hip as Amber.

Aditya Sengupta

Groomsman

If you can recognize a theme from the groomsmen, Aditya and Marc met during their first year of medical school. These two quickly became friends over many hours of Halo co-op legendary mode and Call of Duty (although Aditya would always lose to Nate and Marc in COD knife battles). After living together, many trips around the world including too many visits to San Francisco, and despite losing to Marc on the guardian's map in Halo 3 countless times, these two have become family. Marc is so excited to celebrate Aditya's own wedding in October 2022.
