Feeling peckish? Louis and I highly recommend Postino for a quick bite to eat! Its a five-minute drive from the church in Arcadia. Louis and I love the bruschetta board & bottle, the roasted mushroom fondue, and the prosciutto & brie panini.
La Grande Orange Grocery & Pizzeria
Needing a pick-me-up before the wedding? Swing by LGO for coffee and croissants! Louis and I have shared many wonderful memories there. Make sure to check out all the Phoenician knick knacks at the general store!
The Henry
Take advantage of this time off and treat yourselves to a romantic date night at The Henry! Louis recommends the seared ahi tuna and I love the Korean prime skirt steak.
AJ's Fine Foods
AJ's is a great spot to grab a refreshing iced strawberry arnold palmer after a hike. AJ's is an Arizona classic and known for its iced teas! It's kitty-corner to the canal and right down the road from The Henry.
Flower Child
Made from scratch with fresh ingredients, Flowerchild serves healthy food packed with flavor. Trust us skip the salad... I recommend the entree with steak, roasted broccoli, and sweet corn & quinoa. Louis's go-to is the entree with salmon, roasted broccoli, and smashed golden potato.
Don Woods' Say When
Rooftop bar with an intimate lounge and spacious terrace featuring fire pits, cozy seating, and expansive views of the Phoenix skyline and Camelback Mountain. The design of the penthouse level is straight out of the late ’60s and early ’70s, complemented by a light menu and drinks.
OHSO Brewery + Distillery
Outrageous Homebrewer’s Social Outpost (O.H.S.O.) is a restaurant, local nano-brewery and social hotspot located in Arcadia. Its backyard is right off the Arizona Canal, so kick back and relax with great views of Camelback Mountain and 36+ beers on tap as well as wine and house cocktails.

Fate proudly brews on an all-American manufactured brewhouse. Check out the killer happy hour with $5 pints of local lager, hatch chile gatos, and Irish red ale. Enjoy the open, bright space offering pub grub, beer and cocktails along with ping pong, foosball and live music.
Piestewa Peak
This 2.3-mile out-and-back trail is generally considered a challenging route with 1,151 ft of elevation gain. If you're looking for a great workout, this summit hike is the perfect trail. Some notable views from the summit include Camelback Mountain, the Dreamy Draw Recreation Area and the city of Phoenix. Remember to bring water and snacks to enjoy at the top!
Papago Park
Papago Park is another great spot to immerse yourself in the beauty of Arizona. You can hike, walk or climb the sandstone boulders! While you're in the area, check out the Phoenix Zoo or the Desert Botanical Gardens.
Camelback Mountain
Camelback Mountain is a beautiful, challenging 2.6-mile hike with 2,704 ft of elevation. There are two trails: Echo Canyon and Cholla. Both trails are difficult, while Echo Canyon is steeper – Cholla is longer. This hike is a staple in the valley with amazing scenic views and a great workout.
Sedona, Arizona
If you're left with extra time, make a day trip out to Sedona! The red rock is stunning and there are many hiking trails to explore. Our top picks are Chicken Point, Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Boynton Canyon, and Devil's Bridge. The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a stunning Catholic Church embedded in the Sedona red rock. You can hike to the church by taking Chicken Point to Chapel Trail or drive up!
