The closest airport is located in Missoula. Occasionally flights can be cheaper to Spokane, Washington (GEG) or Bozeman, Montana (BZN) which are both about a 3 hour drive from Missoula (Southwest available to these 2 airports only). Other airports within a 4 hour drive include Great Falls, MT (GTF) and Kalispell, MT (FCA) although these are rarely cheaper.

There is an Amtrak passenger train that has a stop in Whitefish (WFH) which is about a 3 hour drive to Missoula.

There is a greyhound bus station in Missoula with multiple options for origin cities.

Montana is home to 2 amazing and unique National Parks: Glacier and Yellowstone. Glacier is closest to Kalispell and Whitefish, and Yellowstone is closest to Bozeman. Although not in Montana, Teton National Park is just below Yellowstone. Montana is also home to the largest fresh water lake west of the Mississippi, Flathead lake! Looking for luxury?
