We met in 2018 when I began working at Boca West Country Club. I was in college working an internship, Kappie was a Restaurant Manager. We would say hello to each other here and there, but never spent a lot of time together. It wasn’t until 2019 that we started to see more of each other while we would go out with friends from work. Kappie loves to tell the story of the time everyone from work went to Brickyard after work, and he and Marvin walked in and I said OH MY GOSH… Marvin…Hi!!! I don’t remember not greeting Kappie…but apparently that’s how it went. Anyway, we talked and hung out that night, if I remember correctly maybe had some Cafe Patron, and looked forward to seeing each other out again in the future. Our first picture taken together was in May of 2019, we were all out in Fort Lauderdale, a sort of last hurrah before everyone went up North for their summer jobs, or like myself stayed put in Florida. Fast forward to the end of 2020, a whirlwind of year, we started to spend more and more time together. We rang in the New Year and 2021 was looking up! We spent a lot of time at work together, Kappie I think it’s time I tell you all of those days you were working Pantry shift… I was actually scheduled Grand Central, it just so happened they always needed a volunteer to help! I am so thankful for those days. Over the summer Kappie went back up north to New Jersey, and worked another crazy summer season. Thank goodness for FaceTime, and quick weekend trips to see each other. On August 15th, on one of his trips down to Florida, Kappie proposed and I of course said YES! We are thrilled to share our love story with everyone. We have so much love for each other and beyond that for our family and friends, let the Countdown to the Big Day begin!
