I met Justin met through a mutual friend, Rudy. He was a coworker of mine at Cargill, Inc, and he is a long time friend and college roommate of Justin's. We all met for drinks one night at Hammer and Sickle, a now favorite bar of ours in Uptown, Minneapolis. After meeting that night we didn't think much of it, and didn't talk for a few months after that. Along came my 22nd birthday, and of course I invited Rudy to come out and celebrate (secretly hoping he would bring Justin along). Somehow Justin convinced me to give him a shot, and good thing I did! Since the night of my birthday, we have been inseparable, aside from the week I returned to Colorado. Before meeting Justin, I had plans to finish my last 2 years of school at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. I packed up and left, but soon after arriving in Colorado, my contract at Cargill back in Minnesota was extended, and I moved back shortly after. Some people will say I moved back to Minnesota for a guy, and well, they wouldn't be totally wrong. Justin played a big role in my decision to move home, and he was well worth the risk!
