We love visiting Japantown! There are lots of cute shops at the indoor and outdoor plaza, small grocery markets and lots of good food options.

PIER 39

Lean into being a tourist, we've done it many times. This is where you will find lots of little shops, mini donuts, traditional souvenirs & the always abundant sea lions. This visit goes hand & hand with Fisherman's Wharf.

Haight-Ashbury

We have spent many afternoons roaming the vintage shops, quick bites, and art up and down this lively street/district. It is considered the birthplace of the 1960s counterculture movement. There is a lot to see including the Grateful Dead house.

Free Gold Watch

Pinball! We love an old fashion arcade and have visited many in our years of travel. This is a favorite in the city. Close by Haight St.

Mission Dolores Park

Grab your jacket, sunnies, and a snack and go hang out like a local. We usually sit at the top, listen to music, people watch, and enjoy the views.
