Josh and Julia started their relationship as lab partners the first day of nursing school at Grand Canyon University. Josh realized shortly into this lab class that he was interested in pursuing more than just being lab partners. Julia was so focused on how to correctly take blood pressure, she was oblivious to what was to come. Not long after, Josh began posting songs and artists on social media that Julia was also fond of, which then sparked conversation. All of a sudden, they were planning to attend a concert together only a few days after conversing. A few days before the end of the first semester, Josh chased after Julia after class to ask her on an official date. After a month of getting to know each other, Josh and Julia made it official on October 10, 2022. Josh's question "Will you be my girlfriend?" was followed by Julia saying, "Of course, but my intentions for dating is marriage." Josh responded with, "Me too and that doesn't scare me." Since the beginning of their relationship, Christ has been at the center. On December 30, 2023, in the middle of the woods in Minnesota, Josh asked Julia to be his wife surrounded by candle lit logs and pines, just as the snow began to fall. As the Lord continues to guide their relationship, they could not be more excited to celebrate this union of marriage surrounded by their loved ones!
