Julia and Sarah met earlier on in life and quickly became besties. Sarah has always been there for the best advice, to support as well as challenge, and is a cheese lover just like Julia. Sarah is one of the most loyal people you will meet and loves people beautifully. Julia most appreciates the ways that Sarah has shown her how to find steadiness and peace in God.
Wesley Dinoff
Best Man
Joseph met Wesley their Freshman year on the "Jungle" at NU. Since then, Wesley has stepped up from room-neighbor to roommate to Best Man. Wesley has a big heart for people and God and he brings this passion into every little thing he does; its no surprise he's meant so much to Joseph and Julia these last two years. There's always something crazy afoot when Wesley's around, and now that he's here: the squad's all together!
Beth Kennington

Julia and Beth met at Lake City Community Church a little over a decade ago and have become closer and closer every year. Beth has become one of Julia’s best adventure buddies. Beth is a pro DJ, a fellow dedicated sunrise hiker, and always down for a cup of coffee (Julia couldn’t ask for better qualities in a friend). Beth has encouraged Julia in her faith and they have been able to learn alongside one another how to gracefully approach each of life’s transitions. Beth is a friend for life.
Kaleb Ziesing

Kaleb's known Joseph longer than he can remember. One of the most thoughtful and kind people Joseph has ever met, having Kaleb as an older brother has been a huge blessing. As we embark on this new stage of life, there is no better friend to have along. Whether saving his little brother from a daring dog chase or a brush with a swimming pool, Kaleb's always there to keep an eye on Joseph, and today is no exception! Besides, who wouldn't want a one-man-band and standup comedian at their wedding?
Liz Heffron

Julia and Liz met in 2020 when they were sister RA’s at Northwest University. Liz has been a place of safety, adventure, and fun ever since. Liz and Julia have been on some grand adventures together: from getting stuck in New York to driving to Oregon for In-N-Out, from venturing down to California to road-trips to Montana. Liz is truly a sister to Julia.
Daniel Ziesing

Chef extraordinaire, violin virtuoso, pi-champ, and built-in best friend, Daniel is always there to spice up the party! He was the double for every childhood heist, the confidant for every magic trick, and now he's here to help pull off the big one on July 23rd. Daniel is driven, authentic, and full of God's compassion, and it is such a huge blessing to have him by Joseph's side.
Brenna Olson

Julia and Brenna have been friends ever since meeting in the Lake City Nursery in 2001. Brenna is the friend that has known Julia the longest. Together Julia and Brenna have survived the awkward years, tried to become influencers, and have navigated both the joys and pains of life. After 22 years of friendship, it’s safe to say that Julia and Brenna aren’t ending this friendship anytime soon.
Daniel Shaffer

Soon to be brother-in-law, but for now always a part of the party. Daniel's love for people and his family is fierce. And it has undoubtedly made it a joy for Joseph to learn to love not only Julia but all of her family. From all the days on the lake: kayaking, swimming, or just goofing around, we could not be happier to have Daniel around for this big day. We might have to reign him in from time to time, but he's such a big reason for why we are "all in" for this wedding!
