Come along on our journey becoming Engaged! 💍❤️🙌
Jordan and I met in 2019 at Chaffey College. We were both taking Intro to Communications, I guess it’s the perfect class for you to meet your future husband. When I first saw Jordan walk in he had the biggest smile on his face, long hair, a skateboard, and a beanie on. If you know me, you’d know this was exactly my type at 19. I instantly thought he was so cute, and I was so excited he sat right next to me. We started to have small talk in class. I soon found out Jordan was the sweetest and funniest guy I had ever met. Jordan’s laugh was contagious, every time I heard him laugh I couldn’t help but laugh too. Eventually we got into a group project together, I felt bad for our other group partner because they definitely felt like a third wheel with the two of us. After the group project ended, Jordan and I would continue to hangout after class. One evening we were sitting on a hill talking and the sun was setting, it was mid October. I knew then that I really liked Jordan and I was so excited when he texted me that night telling me he really enjoyed talking to me and asking to take me out on a date. Jordan and I officially started dating November 24th, 2019. Right away we were so in love with one another. After 3 months of dating we wanted to move in together, after 6 months we were living together and building a home. Five years later we’re getting married. These years have flown by beautifully, with each passing day I can see God’s promises for our future. There’s no one else I’d rather spend my life with.
I first laid eyes on Julia one day at Chaffey. I watched her walk in with cool red sunglasses, flip flops, and a super contagious smile. Julia will tell our first encounter a different way but I like to think I was very smooth. One conversation was all it took for me. Talking to Julia was not what I expected but better than I ever could have imagined. I think we hit every topic on the map from ghosts and aliens, to family, to conspiracy’s, you name it. But for some reason she enjoyed it too and that’s when I knew I may have a chance! The next 5 years that followed were full of ups, down, all arounds, but most importantly… loving, learning, and growing. While doing all these things it kept reassuring me that Julia is the absolute best person to do these things with. We still talk about aliens to this day and conspiracy theories and family so I guess some things never change but some things do. When I look at my beautiful fiancé and think back to the cute girl from speech communication at college I first fell in love with is when I really see how much we’ve grown. In love, in life, and in laughter. I can’t wait to see what the rest of our story has for us and what God has written in every blank page. <3
