Downtown Guelph
We love to go for walks in and around the downtown area! Lots of great coffee shops (red brick cafe), bites to eat, shopping, and patios.
Guelph Lake Conservation Area
Short hikes, kayak & canoe rentals available. For any avid anglers out there, you might hook into some bass too!
Spring Mill Distillery
A great selection of amazing cocktails and snacks.
The Boathouse
Grab ice cream on the speed river, right by downtown. They have kayak rentals too!
Elora
If you have a couple hours to spare, head downtown Elora, park your car and go for a stroll through Elora's charming streets. There are a bunch of cute little shops, amazing food, and the historic Elora Mill Hotel & Spa. Grab a beer at Elora Brewery (you may have to wait for table), and kill some time walking through the nearby trails, with lookout points to the Gorge.
Elora Gorge & Quarry
Take a dip in the Elora Quarry, or ride a tube down the river (book in advance).
St. Jacobs Farmers' Market & Flea Market
Canada's largest year-round market, and a great place to go Saturday morning. We love their apple fritters and fresh cut chips :) Grab some maple syrup and summer sausage!
