Julia is about to not be a Dennis, and that is okay... because Jonathan tells her Sanders sounds better anyway. She loves to be outside and go on any type of random adventure, especially if it includes seeing cool animals! She is funny, hardworking, and kind. She also loves glitter, even though others find it annoying. Julia is finishing out her degree with Liberty University, and is called to defend God's Truth with her life. She is excited to see where the Lord is going to take her and Jonathan, and loves life with all the people around her!

Jonathan Sanders

Jonathan will always be a Sanders. And he can't wait to marry his best friend! Jonathan loves playing disc golf (he is in fact a professional!! wowzers!!), hanging out with his friends, and most of all spending time with Julia. Jonathan and Julia go on many sporadic and random adventures together. Most of them (if Julia is there or not) involve playing guitar and eating at Blue Coast Burrito! Jonathan works at Benefast, a construction supply distributor. He works hard and always tries to glorify the Lord in everything he does. He can't wait to see where the Lord takes him in this next season of life and is excited to serve God with his wife!

Genevieve Dennis

Genevieve is Julia's sister. She is artistic, fun, and suuuuper cool! She keeps Julia in line. Genevieve has a little dog named Ollie, who is very funny.. and also very annoying. She loves chai tea, going on adventures, cars, and learning about national parks. She is Julia's bestest friend!!!

Josiah Anderson

Best Man

Josiah is Jonathan's best friend, and is excited to marry Emma Williams very soon!! Jonathan can talk to him about anything, and does just that! Josiah has been a young man that Jonathan has always looked up to, even from the beginning of their friendship. Josiah is funny, one of the best trombone players in the state of Tennessee, and is down for just about anything you can think to do. He exemplifies God's love very well and shines a very bright light into this very dark world. (DANIEL!!! - it's an inside joke)

Emma Williams is a soon to be Anderson!! She is kind, joyful and a wonderful friend. She is graduating from Impact 360, a program that teaches about developing a Christian worldview-- and uses her knowledge and deep relationship with the Lord to reach people around her! Julia is blessed to call Emma a friend, and could not be more thankful that they can live life together.

Hana is Julia's closest friend from high school. She is thoughtful, well-worded, and passionate. Hana loves to spend quality time with friends and the Lord, and enjoying good Ethiopian food! Hana and Julia met at Horton Haven Christian Camp, and even though they didn't go to the same high school, they became great friends anyway! During COVID, they would go on long walks, hikes, and kayaking trips. Hana is super fun!!

Connor Shoup

Connor Shoup is a father!!! And also one of Jonathan's best friends. Though he's only known Jonathan for a year and some change, he has impacted the groom-to-be's life for the better. He loves a good poop story and is proud of it. He is learning to navigate being a father to his baby boy right about now. So Jonathan decided it would be a good idea to make him one of his groomsmen to add another thing to the plate (sorry Ruthie).

Emma Claire Suarez

Emma Claire and Julia met on the first day of college, on a random hiking trip. Ever since then, she has been one of Julia's best friends. Emma Claire is one of the funniest people you will ever meet. She has the amazing ability to laugh at anything, but can cry with you five minutes later. She is empathetic, kind, and wears her heart on her sleeve. Julia and Emma Claire are true kindred spirits, and they will always be friends.

Andrew O'Black

Andrew is one heck of a drummer. Some would say, the best this side of the Mississippi. In Jonathan's life, Andrew will go down as one of the top three people who have spent to most time with Jonathan after 12 am. Andrew can throw down playing some basketball and has always been a great friend.

Catherine Russell

Catherine met Julia on the first day of college at Auburn University. She is an amazing, strong, and beautiful woman who carries the strength of the Lord well. She is a true cowgirl from Austin Texas, and enjoys crafting medieval armor, swords, and leatherwork. She is one of the most hard-working people you will ever meet, and always has a good attitude. Julia admires Catherine's spirit, and loves how she has always stayed true to herself.

Ethan Pittman

Ethan is one of the OG homies. Since freshman year of high school, he's been one of the few people that have stuck it out. From strange moments in the baseball locker room to late-night drives jamming to loud music, Ethan has seen it all. Fun fact: he collects Goosebumps books (it's actually crazy, he has a lot).

Ella Payne is a true legend. She loves all things girly, and enjoys watching funny chick flicks. (Julia is not allowed to pick out movies on movie nights... they disgust Ella!!) Ella is kind, romantic, and you can talk to her about anything. She is always there for you, and will always tell you the truth. Julia's favorite memory with Ella was when they randomly went to Georgia... on accident... by flipping a coin to see which way to turn in the car.

Noah Williams

Noah is the most social person Jonathan knows. And that is saying a lot. With many late-night talks and games of ultimate under their belts, they have grown to be very good friends. Noah recently finished up a gap year program called Fellows by Impact 360, and is now about to be a freaking rocket scientist (WHATTTTT)!!!!!!! That's pretty cool. He's pretty cool. But a better friend.

Evelyn Boone

Evelyn is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She is a real-life Disney princess, and has a true heart of gold. Evelyn battles Chron's Disease, and things aren't easy most of the time, but she leans on the Lord and always takes her pain to Him. Her life is inspiring, and Julia looks up to her. Evelyn loves playing board games, hanging out with her friends, and loves the special needs community at church! She is a true joy to be around, and will always be near and dear to Julia's heart.
