This is our neighborhood. We love to visit the shops on the weekends or go see a movie at the Belcourt Theater. There is plenty of shopping, coffee shops, thrift pop-ups, restaurants and a local park located at the edge of Vanderbilt's campus.
12 South is a great neighborhood to visit, eat, or just walk around. There is plenty of retail shopping, bars, restaurants. Shopping includes Reese Witherspoon's "Draper James", White's Mercantile, and many others. Food includes Burger Up, Frothy Monkey, 12 South Taproom, and Jeni's ice cream to name a few!
Located in Hillsboro Village, this is one of our favorite breakfast places in our neighborhood. It is also a Nashville favorite for breakfast. Make sure to go early if you want to beat the wait. It is popular!
Located in Green Hills, this is a classic Nashville spot serving New York style diner food. It is great for breakfast and an occasional sighting of a songwriter.
Great taco spot in Green Hills.
For people staying downtown, this is a great bar with live music and is connected to Ole Smoky Distillery. Plenty of outdoor seating and a great place to meet up with friends! We love to meet friends here before seeing a Titans or a Predators game.
One of the most iconic music venues in the country, no visit to Nashville is complete without a visit to the Mother Church. Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, this venue was the original home of the Grand Ole Opry. Jonah and I have been to countless concerts here over the years. For any big music lovers with an extended stay in Nashville, this is by far one of the best venues and Julia's favorite building in town. Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will be performing 10/19-10/25 in case anyone is interested!
