Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will have two 15-passenger vans providing shuttle service from the hotels to Edgewood Country Club. There will only be one pickup at the Courtyard and Hampton and this will be ~3:30. The Residence Inn will have several shuttles between 3:30 - 4:40.

Why is there a ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 14th, too?

Answer

As Catholics, we always knew we wanted to get married by a priest in a Catholic church. We understand that it would be difficult to have the mass and reception in one day as they are on opposite ends of Pittsburgh. As such, we will have a brief "vow exchange" ceremony at Edgewood Country Club for all of those who cannot attend the mass. All are welcome to attend either of the ceremonies.

Residence Inn in Monroeville/Wilkins Township (details on the "Travel" page).

Are the venues handicapped accessible?

Answer

Yes. Edgewood Country Club does not have any stairs. Saint James Church has a side entrance with just 4 short steps.

Are there any post-wedding events planned for the rest of the weekend?

Answer

As of now, no. However, we will be staying at a hotel in the city and will make our whereabouts known throughout the course of the weekend. We will keep yinz posted!

Yes, there is plenty of parking at Edgewood Country Club.
