Question
Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! We will be providing transportation from The Colonial Inn, drop-off at the end of the night will be at the same location. Please see our travel page for more details!
Question
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We will be having an unplugged ceremony and kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during our ceremony. We have an absolutely wonderful photographer and videographer who will be documenting our day!
Question
Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
We are hosting a Welcome Party on Thursday October 24th at 6:30 PM at Josias River Farm. There will be dinner and drinks for everyone! All are welcome - if you're in town please join us in celebrating before the big day! Please dress warmly since we'll be in a barn! Following the reception we will be hosting an after party at Nubb's Lobster Shack at the Cliff House.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Bring your dancing shoes - we can't wait to celebrate with you! Our reception will be located in a ballroom overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, for attire we are encouraging guests to wear formal attire. For the guys we recommend suits and for ladies we recommend midi or maxi dresses - but please wear what you're most comfortable in! Weather permitting the ceremony will be held outside, for the ladies please be mindful if you choose to wear a stiletto heel!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We wish we could invite everyone to our special day. All wedding invites will clearly state who is invited or will note 'and guest'. Please reach out to Julia or John with any questions!
