    Our People
Greenery Banner

Our People

Leslie Maher

Matron of Honor

A wonderfully patient person, Leslie has been there for all the growing pains of Julia's life since our years at Orchard. Never a dull moment!

Jeff von Arx

Best Man

Jeff, my best man and younger brother by 3 years has been by my side from the beginning. He's is the kindest, most understanding person I have ever met and he is a great husband to his wife Amy and dad to his two girls, Harper and Hayden. Jeff is also a classically trained drummer and maybe he can play a song or two with the band :)

Maddy MacAllister

Matron of Honor

Words cannot describe the friendship Maddy has given to Julia over the years, she really is the best cheerleader a girl could find so early in life.

Cameron Cowden

Groomsman

Cam was my teammate on my 8 and under little league all-star team in Indianapolis (Skiles Test). We have been close friends ever since our summers playing backyard and organized baseball together. Cam and I graduated high school together at Zionsville and he eventually went on to Denison to play baseball where he would become one of the best pitchers in program history. Cam is married and a father of 2 girls.

Christine Powlen

Matron of Honor

Julia always wanted a sister, and when Brooks finally married Christine she was given the best of the best. Christine is a tenacious ally to have as a bridesmaid and in this life.

Jeff Byrum

Groomsman

Originally from beautiful Ft.Wayne Indiana, Jeff was a Zionsville transplant, where we eventually met in 4th grade (Mrs. Furman's class). Jeff has been one of my closest friends throughout my life. We both went to high school together attended Indiana University (even though he is a die-hard Purdue fan). Jeff is married and a father of 2 boys.

Rachel Claire Henry

Junior Bridesmaid

Although slightly younger, Rachel Claire has always been wise beyond her years and never failed to give Julia a unique perspective on life.

Kyle Cowden

Groomsman

Kyle was my brothers counterpart in the legendary games of 2 on 2 backyard baseball at the Cowden household growing up. I have known Kyle for over 20 years as he grew up down the street from our dad's house in Indianapolis. Kyle attended Zionsville High School and played baseball at Xavier University.
