Why are you getting married at the Shrine of St. Joseph?

Answer

Ever since we have started dating, St. Joseph has been a pivotal part of our prayer life. Also, we got engaged at this church, on the Feast of St. Joseph! So, it is only fitting that we enter the Sacrament of Marriage at the Shrine!

How far away is the church from the reception site?

Answer

The church is about 35 minutes away.

Is there parking available at the church?

Answer

There is a parking lot near the Shrine of St. Joseph, but there is a chance that you may have to park along the street!

What can I do in between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Good question- You can go to the hotel bar at Embassy Suites, or you can go hang out at the Streets of St. Charles!

Will this be a full mass?

Answer

Yes, we will be celebrating our marriage with a full mass, and we can't wait! *Non-catholics are asked to abstain from receiving Holy Communion, however, all are welcome to come forward for a blessing during this time.*

Will kids be allowed at the wedding?

Answer

This will be an adults only event.
