We're getting married!

We met in the 7th grade at Chippewa Middle School in Okemos, Michigan. Though we didn't start dating until junior year of high school, ever since meeting in 7th grade, we always had a thing for each other.

We both were going on a study abroad in Europe. Jeff's was in Tours, France and Julia's was in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Before Julia's study abroad started she went to visit Jeff in France for about 10 days. Our trip started in Paris. On the day that we were going to see the Eiffel Tower, Jeff encouraged them to take a specific route, saying "this bridge has a great view of the Eiffel Tower!" There were many people taking photos of the tower from this specific bridge so Julia didn't think anything of it when Jeff asked some random woman to take a picture of us. She then said that she was a photography student in Paris and asked if she could practice some shots with us. Little did Julia know, Jeff had been in contact with this woman and she was a professional photographer and this was a set up! That was the moment that Jeff began his little speech about their relationship and how much he loved Julia. He then got down on one knee and said "Julia Renee Sedatole, will you marry me?" With tears in her eyes and a smile on her face, Julia said "YES!" and we were engaged!
