Temperatures in mid-September can vary from 65 to 90 degrees during the day. However, you can safely expect a temperature near 70 degrees in the evening. The event will be held under a tent, but in the event of rain, we recommend bringing an umbrella for the walk to and from the car.
We request guests dress in Semi-Formal attire (no jeans, shorts, polos, flip-flops, sneakers, or casual sundresses). Gentlemen, if temperatures exceed 80 degrees in the afternoon, do not feel obligated to keep your suit jacket, sports coat, or blazer on. However, we will likely ask that you wear it for formal photos. Ladies, we advise you to opt for block or wedge heeled shoes since you'll be walking in grass.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate all children at our wedding, though we wish we could. If your children are invited to the event, they will be named in your party on the RSVP page. Thank you for understanding. If your children are invited, but you are in need of a kid-free night out, we completely understand your situation and will not be offended if your little ones are not in attendance on the big day. PLEASE BE ADVISED: -Music played later in the evening may not be suitable for tender, young ears -High chairs and booster seating will not be provided -Areas surrounding the tent are not child-proofed and supervision of children is required at all times -Sensory Considerations: There will be loud music, bright/flashing lights, and potential smoke/fog for the duration of the reception. Please bring whatever sensory items your child may need (noise cancelling headphones, sunglasses, iPad, etc.). Reach out to Julia for any accommodations/action plan needs you'd like to discuss!
Parking will be street parking - though we may have a pseudo "valet" service thanks to our wonderful groomsmen. Check back for updates on this closer to the event date. **Let us know if someone in your party has difficulty walking. We will reserve a special parking spot for your group. A groomsman will be present to walk the guest to their seat, if needed. **To reduce the volume of vehicles, please consider carpooling with friends/family if it is a viable, convenient option.
For those who may have mobility concerns, please be aware that all guests MUST climb stairs to use the restroom. Additionally, guests will likely encounter small areas of uneven grass or mulch, which may be more difficult to see in the evening. We ask that you please plan accordingly and note any mobility concerns on your RSVP so that we may try to accommodate your needs.
