We're Getting Married!!

Once upon a summer in 2019, Julia met Jason at a fantastic place known as the Woof House. The UT Dallas frisbee community was hosting a welcome-back party, and Sandra was among those invited. Enter Julia, Sandra's amazing younger sister, who nobly picked her sister up and took her home. As Julia approached the Woof House, she was greeted by the friendliest and cutest dog named Ash. Ash led Julia to the backyard, where the party was in full swing. It was there, among the laughter and flying frisbees, that Julia's eyes fell upon Jason- what a catch they both thought ;) Julia and Jason soon became friends, and their relationship became official on December 13th of that year. Of course, Sandra insists she was the true orchestrator of this love story, claiming full credit for bringing Julia and Jason together. The rest is history!

Jason decided to propose on their annual ski trip with Julia's family, which took place in Beaver Creek and Vail. It was the final day of their trip, and Julia was completely oblivious to the possibility of getting proposed to, especially since she was preparing for a month-long vacation in Argentina just three days after arriving home from the trip. The last day of their trip was spent in Vail with over six inches of new powder. It was January 11th, Julia's birthday, and everyone headed to celebrate with dinner at a German restaurant in the ski town. After an amazing dinner (where Julia tried fondue for the first time), the whole family headed back to the hotel full of great food and a couple of liters of German beer. Jason pulled Julia aside and asked if she would run to the car with him since he had forgotten something. With all the love in her heart, Julia said yes as it was currently snowing and 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Julia followed Jason, and being directionally challenged, she didn't realize that he was leading her to a secret path next to the creek, beautifully lit with twinkling lights. Jason turned around with the biggest smile and proposed! Let's just say afterward, Julia and Jason no longer realized how cold it was outside. Julia and Jason continued to walk along the creek and into the ski town before returning to the hotel and surprising Julia's family with the amazing news! Picture 12 hrs before the engagement!
