We recommend using Uber or Lyft to travel from the airport to the ferry. Travel time is 30-60 minutes, depending on traffic. Rates should be around $50.

The Block Island Ferry
The ferry is out of Point Judith. Sailing time on the traditional ferry is 55 minutes for $12. Sailing time on the high speed is 30 minutes for $30. Please purchase your roundtrip tickets in advance, as ferries will absolutely sell out. Don't worry, there is booze when you cruise!

Block Island Airport (BID)
If you prefer to fly to the island instead of taking the ferry, you can fly out of the Westerly State Airport (WST) via New England Airlines (www.blockislands-airline.com) or The Whale (www.flythewhale.com). Uber/Lyft from PVD to WST is 45 minutes. Flight time from WST to BID is 12 minutes.
