We're getting married!

We met on the first day of nursing school at Thomas Jefferson University in August 2021. We were in the same lab group as our last names were close to each other in the alphabet. Immediately, we became friends. After a couple weeks it was clear that Eric had a crush on Julia. Unfortunately, Julia turned him down. We decided to stay friends (no, really we were just friends) and for the next year built a friendship based on adventure, humor, and trust. Little did Julia know that Eric had a crush on her the whole time. He often says he "was playing the long game." After we finished the first year of nursing school, we decided to take a trip to Atlanta, Georgia to celebrate. This is where we fell in love. We officially started dating on May 18, 2022. After a couple months, we knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. We moved in together in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania after graduation from nursing school in June of 2023. In May of 2024, we decided to go back to Atlanta, Georgia to celebrate officially being together for two years. Eric brought Julia to a park with a view of the city skyline. We turned a corner and a sign reading "marry me" with rose petals was set up. Eric had planned the proposal, hired a photographer, and flew Julia's mom and sister, Laura, to Atlanta to witness the proposal. Getting engaged in the city where we fell in love was the perfect beginning to the rest of our forever. We are so excited to get married and share our day with the people that mean the most to us. We know our future is so bright as long as we have each other and all of you!
