Drew and I went to high school together but didn't really know each other. Three years ago, my mom and sister-in-law, Jasey, saw him at a party and decided that we needed to date. I went to a wedding he was in a month later, and Jasey pushed me into him on the dance floor and ran away. We spent the rest of the night dancing while my mom watched, thrilled that her plan had worked. The rest is history!
I was doing a photoshoot for Owensboro Living Magazine, as I do every other month. My friend and bridesmaid, Kristin, is my photographer, and she had been working with Drew to come up with a plan of how to photograph the proposal during the shoot. After I unknowingly tried to mess up every plan they had for that day, it all ended up perfect as he got down on one knee on the porch of my parents house while our families watched from inside. It was the perfect day.
We are so excited to be getting married in Sandestin, Florida, and can't thank you all enough for sharing our special day with us! We hope you fall in love with our little piece of paradise as much as we have this past year. We picked a spot that will be fun for everyone, with tons of restaurants, shopping, golf and more!
