We had loads of fun here while getting a little bit of a workout. It is best to adventure in the morning when it is cool. They have four courses for adults and some for kids. You can also just hit up the big zip line they have for your adventure.
We went here on our first date! you can rent canoes, kayaks, and cabanas! You can paddle down to the spring to swim and take a woodsy walk or you can park at the springs and start your adventure there. Wekiva island also has a a small food stand with a decent lunch menu and a bar. You can also play beach volleyball. If you park at the spring, they also have rentals and a small gift shop but that side is catered mostly to swimming and walking trails. You can paddle between them both but look out for gators! :)
We frequent this doughnut shop, inside a gas station convenience store for super fancy large doughnuts that have flavors changing daily. They stay open until they run out so make sure to get them fresh in the morning!
This is a nice place just to take a walk. They have a few short trails through the trees and a 3/4 mile dock to the lake. We have seen plenty of birds, cool bugs, maybe a turtle or two and some baby alligators and best of all this is where we got engaged!
Downtown Winter Garden has lots to eat and drink along with shows and shops but this Mexican restaurant is one we pick out frequently when we head over for lunch. We love their rooftop dining area looking out over the town in the fresh air.
If you are looking to pop into the Disney scene but not enter a park, Disney Springs is a great place for shopping and eating, It will probably be busy as it is holiday season but that will come with it's own perks like holiday decorations, lights, and themed drinks.
If you're looking for some pre-wedding black Friday deals, this will be your closest place to go. They have lots of stores including Target and Best Buy. There are also good family restaurants like Cracker Barrel and Chilis and some quick ones like Five Guys and Chick Fil A.
