We met on Bumble and went on our first date to a cozy spot in Marlborough after work. Curtis had us both laughing from the start, and we quickly discovered how much we had in common, though Julia made a memorable impression by accidentally spilling a glass of water into Curtis’s lap and somehow still wanted to plan a second date. For date two we tried an indoor golf simulator, where we bonded over friendly competition and Curtis got an early glimpse of how hilariously bad Julia is at golf. In November 2025 we took a Caribbean cruise, and on a stunning Turks and Caicos beach Curtis surprised Julia by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him, he later confessed he’d been nervous the whole time about getting the ring through security at Logan Airport, but everything turned out perfectly.
