Julia and Chris first crossed paths in the summer of 2020 while on Taskforce at the Omni Hilton Head Island Resort. Julia and Chris were just starting their careers on opposite sides of the country; Julia at the Omni Parker House in Boston, and Chris at the Omni La Costa in San Diego. Neither of them expected a worldwide pandemic that forced both their hotels to close. They suddenly found themselves furloughed and unsure of what would come next. What came next was an unexpected opportunity... the Omni Hilton Head in South Carolina was re-opening and needed talented staff willing to relocate. Taking a leap of faith, Julia and Chris were among the few willing to pack their bags and head to South Carolina for a new adventure! Then came an unexpected meeting... Julia was checking out of her room at Omni and Chris was working behind the front desk that morning. They small talked briefly before Julia headed out, but from that moment on, their paths kept intertwining. They worked side by side each other, lived in the same apartment building with their fellow coworkers, and adventured all across the island together while falling in love.
