Never in my wildest dream would I have thought a DM and exchanging numbers would lead this far. When Julia and I met we didn’t realize that we would soon be embarking on a long journey. One thing we both often reminisce about is our first-time meeting (which I will always consider our first date lol). That night we both expressed to one another for hours our past, present and what we wanted our future to look like. I think we planned our wedding that night too lol, but most importantly we spoke about each other’s flaws that night, which lead me to our hashtag #VowtoVallier. We both made a VOW to one another that night in such a short time after that night we both had an understanding that we didn't want to waste any more time. We knew what we were seeking in a relationship, so we continued to talk frequently until September 24,2023. I called her on FaceTime, and I stated I'm tired of being your friend Julia; her response was what I do wrong, was it something I said? I simply stated nothing Julia I want to be your significant other. She then stated right after, yes, we can be together, but you are not going to live in Memphis and I'm in Horn Lake. Months passed and I officially moved to Horn Lake, MS. In February little did she know that I had made a promise to myself that I would not be living with my girlfriend, it would be my wife and I under one roof. On February 25, 2024, I decided to propose to Julia with the people who matter the most. The journey has been challenging but I wouldn't change anything about it because those challenging times have created beautiful memories. As we lay together daily when I look in Julia eyes, I know she is choosing to be here with me through everything because she makes the impossible possible for me. Many ask do you believe in love at first sight; my response will always be you just don't find a God-fearing woman who honors me like she does, accept flaws, truly understands everyday won't be perfect, but everything is okay if we committed to one another right or wrong nothing else matters. -Mr. Vallier
