In the Spring of 2017, Ben and Julia met over spring semester at the University of Michigan, it was short and sweet . Julia left school for the summer not expecting to continue to talk much with the new french boy she just met but Ben called Julia everyday that summer and the rest is history! Ben graduated from the University of Michigan in 2.5 years and left for Minnesota. Before leaving he promised Julia nothing would change and gave her a small pear shaped promise ring. Yet again, not even distance could keep the two apart. Julia traveled for Ben's football games and Ben traveled to come watch Julia's track meets and to spend any quality time together they could. One and half years later the long distanced is finally over and in June of 2021 Ben proposed with a beautiful pear shaped engagement ring on a stunning beach in Portugal. We are so excited and thankful to start our lives together. We cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with you!
