FAQs

Question

Is your wedding on a Sunday?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding ceremony and reception are on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional. If you need additional inspiration, please visit this link: https://pin.it/1eL8bVSza

Question

Where do I park? ( Non Tidewater Inn guests )

Answer

The town lot with meters behind the Hotel on Mill place is an overflow parking lot- they do not charge for the meters from 5:00pm on Friday until Monday morning at 8:00 AM. Parking on Hanson Street, behind the hotel, is also free and usually plentiful on weekends. This is the street that runs directly behind the hotel with the blue water tower and the brick condominium that backs up to the Tidewater parking lot.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 4:00 PM to ensure you're comfortably settled before the ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM. We want to start on time, so we encourage everyone to arrive early!

Question

Do I need a car?

Answer

Most likely, yes. The Tidewater Inn is just over an hour from BWI, and many of our guests will be flying in from all over the country. We recommend renting a car or arranging ridesharing, and feel free to connect with other guests you know to share rides!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can easily RSVP through the form available on this website. Please navigate to the RSVP tab above.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Sunday, July 6, 2025.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We truly appreciate you wanting to share this special day with someone, but we're aiming for a more intimate setting. We will only be able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we adore your little ones, our wedding will be adults-only, except for a few family members listed on the invitation. We hope this allows everyone to fully enjoy the celebration!
