Where should I stay?

Answer

We will have two hotel blocks available to book: The Kimpton and the Hilton Garden Inn downtown. Julia and Alex will be staying at the Kimpton, but you are welcome to stay elsewhere if preferred. We do recommend staying downtown given the proximity to the Friday event and transportation on Saturday.

Can I bring my children to the reception?

Answer

Given the brewery setting, we will not have accommodations for children.

Will there be transportation offered to/from the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will have shuttles running to/from the venue on Saturday. Highland Brewing is approximately 10 minutes from downtown Asheville and parking is allowed overnight if you decide to leave a car instead. Uber/Lyft are also readily available and you are welcome to arrive early and enjoy the main brewery and/or meadow area at Highland.

Will there be any events on Friday or Sunday?

Answer

We hope you will join us Friday at 8pm for libations at Twisted Laurel in downtown Asheville. All wedding guests are invited! There will be no scheduled events on Sunday. Enjoy your sleep.

You’re getting married at a brewery, will there be alternatives to beer at the reception?

Answer

Yes. Liquor, wine, cider, kombucha, pop (sodas), and tea will be available.
