Answer

The dress code for our wedding is "garden formal." Women should wear knee length or longer dresses with sandals or wedges appropriate for walking in grass. Men should wear a light-weight suit or dress pants and a button-down shirt with sport coat optional. A quick google search of "what is garden formal attire" should give you a good idea. Keep in mind our ceremony will be held on a grass lawn, it will likely be hot and sunny, and we definitely recommend you dress comfortably to take a walk around the large property to explore the beautiful waterfront and historic trees.
