Question

What is the weather like in Seattle during September?

Answer

The average temperature for Seattle in September is 67 degrees during the day and 55 at night, with 6 days of rain. 2022 was warmer than years prior, with an average temperature of 72 degrees during the day, 58 at night, and only 1 day of rain.

Question

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The bulk of our celebration will be outdoors, with a seated dinner inside. If it is to rain, the celebration as a whole will take place inside instead.

Question

What is cocktail attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire falls between semi-formal and formal attire. With that being said, our priority is for our guests to be comfortable and enjoy our reception. If for you that looks like no jacket, or even shorts instead of pants (looking at you, FoTB), that's fine by us.

Question

The invitations are reception-only, will there be a ceremony?

Answer

We have chosen to forego a traditional ceremony in favor of a civil one in the days leading up to our reception. We will, however, say a few words to/about each other at the reception, and will ask some key-people in our lives to contribute as well.

Question

The RSVP page requests dietary restrictions and allergies, what can we expect from foodservice?

Answer

We will have passed appetizers, a seated dinner, and stationed dessert, so there will be an abundance of food. Dinner will be served family-style, with chicken and fish (as many people in our lives do not include red meat in their diets), a pasta, and a vegetable. Vegetarian and vegan mains are available with advance notice only, so please be sure to include it in your RSVP if needed. Children's meals are also available with advance notice.

Question

Will there be bar service?

Answer

Of course! There will be a hosted (open) bar featuring beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.

Question

Guest/+1 Policy

Answer

We have tried to include a +1 for each person traveling from out of town who we thought may prefer to travel or explore the city with a companion. All +1's are completely optional and are offered solely for your convenience and comfort. If you did not receive a guest invitation and would like one, please let us know at your earliest convenience.
