Carlo and Julia met during their first year at UC San Diego. They hung out with the same group of friends, but weren't very close. Two years after college, Carlo moved to LA and the two of them started having weekly dinners with their friend Jeff in downtown LA. One day, Jeff couldn't make it, so the two of them went alone and their friendship grew from there.

It was an eventful day at Yellowstone National Park. Carlo and Julia had seen so many things they haven't seen before, like huge hot springs, bison herds, elk, and prong-horned deer. As they drove past a viewpoint called "Inspiration Point", Carlo insisted that they stop and while overlooking the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Carlo got on one knee and proposed.
