Our paths first crossed in the summer of 2016, both graduating from Brookhill Ranch Summer Camp the same week, but we would not come to know one another until several summers later when we worked on Brookhill's All-Summer Staff together. When we both attended the University of Arkansas in the fall of 2019, mutual camp connections allowed our circles to intertwine, and our first summer on staff together, 2020, solidified a friendship. Slowly, coworkers-turned-"camp-friends" grew into "real friends" and eventually best friends bloomed into a relationship. We went on our first date after a spring break trip in 2022 and began officially dating the following September. After navigating some big life changes (i.e. Tucker pursuing a career in law enforcement or Julia moving to Italy for three months), we were brought back together for good on December 10, 2023. **Author's Note: Tucker feels it necessary to note he always knew we would get back together when I came back from Italy. I will relinquish this as my one and only time to be wrong, but I must admit it was for good cause** For the past two years, we have each lived full-time in Little Rock: Tucker working as an LRPD officer and Julia as a manager with Amazon. On June 6, 2025, we finally got engaged on what has decidedly become the happiest day of our lives (for now!!!).
