What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie optional, which means formal attire is encouraged but not required. Men can wear a tuxedo or a suit with a tie, and women can wear a formal gown, cocktail dress, or dressy separates. Feel free to wear any color you would like. Just bring your best look, and we’ll be thrilled to see you!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invitation specifies a plus one, then you are welcome to bring someone! If your invitation does not mention a plus-one, we kindly ask that you attend solo to help us manage guest numbers. When RSVPing, please provide the name of your guest so we can include them in our plans.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we adore children, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration to ensure everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at St. Joachim's Church located at 51 Leonard St, Beacon, NY. It will begin promptly at 5 PM. Following the ceremony, the cocktail hour will take place at The Roundhouse located at 2 East Main Street, Beacon, NY, starting at 6 PM. Both locations are within 1 minute walking distance of each other.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for parking and seating. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5 PM, and late arrivals may need to wait until the processional has ended to be seated.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at both the church and the venue. For those staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, shuttle service will also be available.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place indoors at St. Joachim's Church. Depending on the weather, the cocktail hour will take place outdoors or indoors. The reception will take place indoors.

Is there a hotel wedding block?

Answer

Yes! We have a wedding block at the Hilton Garden Inn Poughkeepsie/Fishkill. Please check out our "Travel" page for more details on booking. Transportation to and from the ceremony will be provided from the Hilton Garden Inn.

Will transportation be provided from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, shuttles will be provided on a set schedule to transport you from the Hilton Garden Inn to the ceremony and back to the hotel after the reception and after party.

I have dietary restrictions. Will there be options for me?

Answer

Absolutely! At the reception you will be able to let the servers know about any dietary restrictions.
