During the summer of 2019, Julee spent her days going to a Planet Fitness in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Every day she would be greeted by Jimmy, working as the personal trainer there. They would see each other daily without saying anything more than, "Hi, how are you?" Until one day Jimmy asked Julee the defining question, "Hey, what race are you?" This began a two hour conversation that blossomed into something neither of them could have imagined. Shortly after they began their relationship Julee moved 500 miles away to North Carolina. Where she began her journey at Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC. Distance surely made the heart grow fonder. Jimmy and Julee would take every chance they could to visit each other. COVID seemed to be a wild blessing as Jimmy and Julee were able to spend more time together for a spring season in north Jersey and summer in Ocean City and Egg Harbor Township. After COVID, Julee returned to North Carolina and truly established her roots in Fayetteville, NC. At the beginning of the summer of 2023, Jimmy made the big move to Fayetteville with his dog, Naga. This was the beginning of their adult lives! Julee started her teaching career while Jimmy continued his career in mortgages. Jimmy and Julee's relationship continued to grow as they learned not only about each other but about life. One of the most valuable lessons they learned was no matter how high or low they were individually, they always had each other. In the summer of 2024 they grew their family by one more. They rescued Hiro! Hiro and Naga became the furriest of friends. December had rolled around and that's when Jimmy and Julee were ready for the next step in their relationship. After 5 years and 4 months into their dating relationship, Jimmy proposed! While at the Cape Fear Botanical Gardens Jimmy and Julee shared the most loving and intimate moment they would have in their relationship. Since then they have booked their wedding for July 18, 2026 at the Highgrove Estate and are counting down the days until they say, "I Do!" While July 18, 2026 is over a year away, they are enjoying every step of the process and taking in every moment.
