This was one of our first date night spots in Charlotte. Fun fact: It's actually an underground dinning experience, designed to play off the prohibition era. From the 1600 degree oven that cooks any steak to perfection, to the master bartenders who make the best smoked old fashions in the city, this is a great dinner spot if you have the time.
Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden
If you're a lover of plants, like Jordan, the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden is just 30 miles outside of the city. It's a unique experience featuring 380 acres of gardens, fountains and nature trails and more!
Nascar Hall of Fame
If you're looking for something to do during the day, the NASCAR Hall of Fame, never disappoints. Exhibits walk you through the sports history, showcase authentic cars and there's even interactive experiences. Fun fact: Both Julian and Jordan have reported on NASCAR coverage during their time in the Carolinas.
Midwood Smokehouse
If you're looking for a taste of the Carolinas, look no further! This is one of our favorite places to get traditional southern BBQ. Pro tip: the cornbread is to die for!
