Question

Is there transportation to and from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

We will be providing group shuttle transportation from the Cancun Airport (CUN) to the Hard Rock Riviera Maya hotel during check in and back to the airport after check out. The shuttle will leave at set times based on other wedding guests flights. On our Shaadi Destinations site, there is a button to book your airport transfers. Enter your flight details there so that the team can coordinate shuttles. You are also free to use your own transportation method of choice.

HOW FAR IS THE RESORT FROM CANCUN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT?

Answer

The resort is approximately a 1-hour drive from Cancun International Airport in Playa Mujeres. We will provide airport transfers to and from Hard Rock Riviera Maya .

DO I HAVE TO STAY AT YOUR RESORT?

Answer

Yes! Guests must stay at our resort for the nights of our events in order to attend them. The resort must be booked through our travel page.

IS THERE A MINIMUM NIGHTS STAY AT THE RESORT?

Answer

Yes, there is a minimum stay of 3 nights. Checking in Thursday and checking out Sunday will give you plenty of time to attend all of our events. If you must stay 2 nights, please contact our travel company at support@shaadidestinations.com so we can find the best rates possible for you.

CAN I STAY LONGER?

Answer

Of course! If you want to stay at our resort for your entire extended stay, you can leverage our group rate from February 20th to February 28th. Any dates outside of this will be subject to the resort's rates. You can also stay at our resort for the nights of our events (February 22nd, 23rd, and 24th) and stay at another resort for any other nights.

WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO TRAVEL TO MEXICO?

Answer

Travel to Mexico requires valid passports, even for US Citizens. Please ensure that your passport expires more than 6 months from the date of entry into Mexico. Mexico has no visa requirement for US Citizens, but you will be asked to fill out a FMM form (Mexico's visitor permit) on the plane or once you land. Once you get to immigration and customs at Cancún airport, the agents will give you the bottom half to retain until you leave the country. It is VERY important to keep this secure until you leave Mexico.

Yes. To attend our wedding events, guests MUST book through out booking link on the Shaadi Destinations website.

ARE WE ATTENDING AN EVENT ALL DAY?

Answer

We spaced out our events in morning and evening so our guests can have some time to themselves during each day. Please see the schedule page for event timings

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Is there a dress code? Do I have to wear indian attire?

Answer

We definitely recommend getting into the spirit of the wedding and wearing Indian attire for the events, but of course it's not required. I have created a Indian dress guide for those who are unfamiliar with easy affordable options . Haldi is less heavy, and more light fabric. What is the dress code for the restaurants at night?

Answer

All restaurants' dress code is casual. Formal shorts or bermuda shorts, dress shirts, polo shirts, or formal sandals. (No wet clothes, visible bathing suit or flip flops.)

The check in time is 15:00 (3:00 PM), the checkout time is 12:00 (12:00 PM)

Can you check in early ?

Answer

Yes, however it is subject to availability. If you arrive early, you can go to the front desk and you will be provided with a wristband that gives you access to hotel grounds and restaurants. Hotel staff will safeguard your luggage so you can go ahead and enjoy. They will notify you when your room is ready.

Where can we eat during the wedding?

There are plenty of restaurants and buffets on site! There is lots of variety for both food and drinks. The hotel has 9 different specialties restaurants, complemented by 4 bars. What events am i invited to ?

Answer

All of them! We want everyone on our guest list to be a part of all festivities. Ganesh Puja, Haldi, Sangeet, Barat, Wedding Ceremony, and Reception.

Can I get my hair and makeup done at the resort?

Answer

The hotel has a full spa and salon on site. They are experienced with indian/american hair and makeup styles. You can make reservations there. If you want your any hair and makeup done the morning of the wedding, let us know, as the salon wont be open yet. Will there be Mendhi?

We will have some time put aside with Mendhi artists to apply henna designs on Thursday night. So ladies, stop by and get your henna!

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer
