Freeport
If you have some extra time during your trip to celebrate us explore downtown Freeport! (Roughly 20-30 minutes from the venue) The first LL.Bean store is located right downtown along with many shops and restaurants to explore.
Acadia National Park
If you extended your stay in New England longer than the weekend, we highly suggest taking the drive up to Bar Harbor Maine. ( 2 hours & 30 minutes). This is our favorite vacation spot in New England... we also got engaged here! We recommend exploring Acadia National Park, where you can see the first sunrise in America! There are so many great restaurants and shops to see downtown Bar Harbor as well.
Downtown Portland
There is so much to see in downtown Portland which is only 45 minutes from our venue, if you fly into Portland it is the perfect day trip! (especially if you have never been to New England). We recommend checking out Old Port which is known for its cobble stone streets, local shops, restaurants, and breweries. Also, take time to check out Portland Head Light, one of the most photographed lighthouses in the U.S!
